And good Sunday concludes the 2009 Craft Show Feltre. A few clouds, a few drops. It is not the sea, the mountains. People come. Enter the old city. Runs, looks, looks, you come across. A hug and then off to the Piazza Maggiore, the notes of music Swingin Jazz Orchestra and the Quartet evening sponsored by Unison. Once again it is gone. We look back, every Saturday and Sunday with Dolce Feltre. Same place, same Feltre.

announced a rain, sadly renewal in the next few days in the forecast, was opened at 18.00 on Thursday, June 25, 2009 the 23rd edition of the Artistic and Traditional Handicrafts Exhibition City of Feltre. HISTORY EXHIBITION
The first edition of the Regional Exhibition of Artistic and Traditional Feltre was held in 1987, 4 to 7 June. Mayor of Feltre was Leandro Fusaro, former supporter of the settlement in the university city, which I gladly welcomed the proposal of the Consortium Initiatives Feltre. In Committee organizing the Consortium, which brought together traders and trade cooperation with the Union of Artisans and Workers Group Intercompany Feltre.
Objectives and characteristics of the event were clearly identified from the outset, as stated in the '87 catalog: "Feltre, a town of art, its sixteenth-century Old Town, its frescoed palaces ... An exhibition to discover the most skilled craftsmen existing in the Veneto and the rediscovery of a city of art to invent for itself a new look to offer its historic center to the entire region so that they can rise to new cultural and commercial contacts between each corner of the Veneto and the rest of the world. "
The success of the exhibition, given by the transformation of the exhibition center in the living room, went from strength to strength in subsequent editions. In catalogo1992, for example, the organizing committee has already expanded and strengthened. They include, in addition to the pioneers, the Chamber of Commerce, Ascom, the Tourist Board of Feltre, the Via Appia. Among the institutions, as well as the City of Feltre and Belluno Province, there is the support of the Community Feltrina. The group sponsoring and organizing forces will remain unchanged over the years and successive editions, always under the patronage and coverage of the Veneto Region.
The Show is moved from first to last day of June, to allow, with the beginning of summer, hot days and even more conducive to audience participation.
Other collaborations during the last editions come from the Belluno Dolomites National Park, whose structure is operational in the second half of the nineties.

The restoration of monuments and museums, the opening of the archaeological site in the churchyard of the cathedral, the re-usable "path of the guards" on the Venetian walls are incentives that increase from year to year the flow and enjoyment of visitors.

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY - the mechanical parts are joined each other by means of bolts, nails, clamps, etc..
BAR - full metal rod, a cylindrical or square section.
CHISEL - small tool steel with sharp point, used to cut metals and other materials.
CHISELLING - sort of punch square tapered at the ends, with the top shaped in various forms. It serves to affect the metals and is used by beating on the head with a hammer.
FORGE - blacksmith's forge, or furnace in which the smiths baking in the iron to beat on the anvil.
FORGING - the metal is hot model, after being made red-hot in the forge, by beating with a hammer on the anvil.
ENGRAVING - is a process by which are engraved some parts of metals through the use of mechanical devices (metal spikes, chisels) or chemical (acid).
ANVIL - Forged tool, consisting of a steel block with two side appendages called horns, which may take different forms. This tool is used in the forging of metals and is used to model by typing the molten metal bat or hammer.
LAMINA - pad or thin metal plate.
LIMA - hand tool consisting of a steel bar and sprocket lined with furrows that cross. In different versions can be used to thin, smooth, shape iron, stone and wood.
